Join our 6-week in-person, evidence based birth education class in Lehi, Utah, designed to help men know about all birth options, interventions, and settings as their partner prepares for labor and birth.
Prepare to create a birth plan based in evidence and knowledge, not guesswork. Learn how to prepare for and support labor physically and hormonally, mentally and emotionally; and how to clearly and confidently advocate for her.
We also cover planning for a prepared postpartum and the basics of newborn care (including feeding, diaper changes, babywearing and more!).
Gain knowledge, understand the options, and prepare for an confident birth and postpartum experience, whatever your birth situation.
This class is for men only, with a complimentary partner class that is recommended but optional.
Our #1 goal is to provide you with evidence-based, unbiased education that empowers you to feel knowledgeable and confident about birth and your role in it.
This is a unique male-centered space offering support, safety, and brotherhood. Men only allows each participant to fully engage in the content and ask questions as needed without feeling shame or silly in front of their partner or other women.
Each week, we’ll not only dive into your birth options, but also focus on education for informed consent and advocacy, something hospitals rarely cover in depth. You'll learn how to support your partner physically and emotionally, navigate your choices with clarity, advocate for your partner, and build a plan that reflects what’s best for your family.
This course also covers in great detail:
Preparing for labor
Birth anatomy & physiology
Possible interventions and how to navigate them
Healing from birth and planning for postpartum
Intro to breastfeeding
Hormones before, during, and after birth
Menstrual cycles after birth
And so so much more!
By the end of the series, you’ll leave with knowledge, confidence, and a start to your own village, formed with the men beside you in class!
What does the class cost?
We offer a Pay-What-You-Can donation model. We believe that access to good health care starts with a solid education, and we don’t want a price tag to get in the way of women receiving true evidence-based information. Find Your Fit is valued above $150. Pay what works best for you any number between $1-$150 to help us continue offering this class to more families!
